Sinopse

We remember way too many lines from sitcoms and have seen, heard, read, and played entirely too many movies, games, music, books, comics, television, and sports. Here we discuss them. If you're looking for in depth discussions of Family Matters, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Star Wars, The Office, Community, Lost, 24, and literally ANYTHING else, you've found it here. We are your personal eidetic memory - we are CTR.Hosts: Jason Martin (@JMart100) Andrew Van (@AVan360)Show: CTR Podcast (@CTRPodcast)Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Certifiable-Total-Recall/183404241706643Certifiable Total Recall by Jason Martin and Andrew Van is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported License.Based on a work at ctr.podomatic.com.

  • Certifiable Total Recall: Episode 32 - A Fire Will Rise

    23/07/2012 Duração: 02h23min

2 hours of The Dark Knight Rises after a short What's Happening and all following a moment of silence for Aurora, Colorado. Jason and Andy cover it all, in depth, and be warned, this is jammed with spoilers. Do not listen until you see the film - again, you were warned. Thanks to Buffalo Rodeo for "All the Same" and to Hans Zimmer for being a master.

  • Certifiable Total Recall: Episode 31 - Live from New York

    03/07/2012 Duração: 01h59min

Jason and Andy talk Person of Interest, Pixar, Abe Lincoln, baseball, and Must See TV in the 90s before the main topic - the guys use their innovative draft format to pick dueling Saturday Night Live casts and talk about which stars and what skits have allowed the show to survive for 38 seasons. Both are upset at people they left off and Jason is still pissed about Bill Hader - enjoy!

  • Certifiable Total Recall: Episode 30 - TV Finales 2012

    07/06/2012 Duração: 01h56min

Jason and Andy go for just under two hours talking first a wide variety of stuff (Dark Knight, Lantern, Poker, MIB, Kristen Stewart's acting talent, and tons more)...then its about an hour on the recent crop of TV finales, covering at least briefly almost 20 different programs...and the opinions are brutal when necessary. Enjoy it - perfect for your weekend!

  • Certifiable Total Recall: Episode 29: Avengers Assemble

    18/05/2012 Duração: 12min

Oh how we love Joss Whedon. Oh how we love all of you. Oh how we've missed Joss on a big stage and oh how we've missed doing this show. We're back with TWO SOLID HOURS to let you know CTR is alive and well and we...are...here...to...stay. Hope you enjoy the show, just as random and crazy as ever. A few audio issues that were out of our control but we tried to fix it where possible. Thanks as always to Buffalo Rodeo for "All the Same," which they generously let us use as our theme.

  • Certifiable Total Recall: Episode 28: This Ep is Justified

    01/02/2012 Duração: 01h44min

Plenty to get to this week as we tackle some news in television and talk films and "the next Lost" before getting to the main course, FX's Justified, which returned three weeks ago. We talk about the characters, Elmore Leonard, the on screen chemistry and tone of the show, plus the hopes of the show runner. Justified convo spins into other TV at times but the guys do their best to keep it on track. As always, Buffalo Rodeo provides the theme song - "All the Same" - which can be found at buffalorodeo.bandcamp.com. The band is almost set to release a new album and we love em!

  • Certifiable Total Recall: Episode 27: Happy New Year

    14/01/2012 Duração: 01h39min

In what will go down as a famous (or infamous) moment for CTR, Andy and Jason put you in the studio with them as they randomly conversed while the tapes were rolling. The main topic shifts from Ving Rhames to Melanie Griffith, from the worst film titles ever to horrible family portraits online and so much more. It wasn't the plan, but it provided so much random entertainment we decided to release it to show you just how INSANE these two gentlemen are. A standard What's Happening segment kicks it off. Thanks to Buffalo Rodeo for "All the Same" as they are in the process of recording their new album - new clips, crazy talk, wild pop culture randomness. This is hopefully going to be an enjoyable ninety-five minutes of pure WTF. Please try to follow along with us on IMDB - as that's where a lot of it came from... we think.

It's all about stand up comedy, past and present, the changes in the art form, the all-time greats, the most overrated comedians ever, the Mount Rushmore of stand-up comedy, the best to transfer to television, film, or other mediums. We bring in a list from a stand-up connoisseur and talk about what we agree and disagree with. This is Andy and Jason as THEY got to know each other as friends years ago, coming together in a kindred spirit of jokes. There's also an odd conversation about Regis Philbin's possible replacement...from people who really don't watch that show anymore but hey, Kelly Ripa's hot! • Certifiable Total Recall: Episode 18 - John McClane Edition

    20/10/2011 Duração: 01h13min

The boys are back in town! No, this isn't a 48 Hours podcast, we mean YOUR BOYS - JMart and AVan, along with friend of the program, Adam Jordan. The discussion centers on the Die Hard movie quadrilogy (and soon to be "quin") but not before we tackle a triple header of what's been going on in each of our lives in an elongated What's Happening segment. It's a fun discussion, do keep in mind it was recorded a few weeks ago so some of the current information may not have already happened. BIG UPS go out to our boys at Buffalo Rodeo, responsible for our theme, who finished in an awesome runner-up spot in the regional RevFest 2011 Battle of the Bands event on October 15th! Next week, we debut a full song from these guys for you at the end of the cast. They are special musicians. Photo borrowed from Craig "Lego" Lyons and his blog at Flickr.

  • Certifiable Total Recall: Episode 17 - A Tribute to Roy Weisenborn

    08/10/2011 Duração: 58min

We welcome friend of the program, Adam Jordan, into the discussion as we have a little fun for a few minutes and then move things into an ultra-serious mode as we remember our good friend, Roy Weisenborn, whose life was cut tragically short two weeks ago in an early morning car accident. The trio share some of their favorite Roy stories, talk about what made the man so special, reminisce, and close with one of his favorite songs, Orion. To all those who knew this awesome individual, this is for you. Download it, save it, keep it, and most of all, remember Roy while you listen. We miss you big guy. Opening theme courtesy of our friends, Buffalo Rodeo - "All the Same."
