Welcome back to the Broken Crayons Still Color podcast! I’m your host, Shelley Hitz and today’s guest is Wanda Carver. Wanda lost her 41-yr-old brother from a massive heart attack. They were two years apart and extremely close. To make matters worse, their mother was dying of lung cancer and they knew she only had months to live. The day before her brother's funeral, she was at the brink of losing total control. The Holy Spirit came to her in an almost tangible way. She truly learned the meaning of "the peace that passes all understanding” which helped her get through his funeral, as well as her mother's and father’s death shortly after.
