It’s finally over.  We’ve reached the end.  Of Jeff’s story.  After a pretty lackluster start to a new trilogy, Saw V picks up literally seconds after the end of its predecessor, leaving Strahm trapped with the corpse of John Kramer. That doesn’t last long as he escapes his first trap and begins a cat-and-mouse game with Detective Mark Hoffman--Jigsaw’s chosen successor.  Meanwhile, a ragtag team finds themselves trapped by Jigsaw, and it’s a race against the clock to figure out how to get out of this twisted escape room.
