You have to change your pattern. You can’t just have thoughts about change. There has to be action behind it. Today’s talk is about the book “Money Magic: Clearing Your Path to Money, Time and Happiness” by Michelle Masters http://michellemastersnlp.com/money-magic/ JeAnna and Mark realize that they want to help others, but that shouldn’t prohibit them from getting theirs, too! Just like us, you may want to give away your services/products for a reduced rate or for free which leaves you in a constant downward spiral chasing money. You may feel out of place being successful or like you won’t belong if you’re making money, so you act in ways that cause financial stress. That sh!t is backwards! You have to make money to stay in business to help more people. The book outlines that change patterns can help you rewrite and rewire your brain chemistry without backtacking. Avoid. Handle poorly. Or Ace it? "Crucial Conversations" falls under the larger umbrella of "Communication." Communication isn’t always easy because everyone communicates differently.  With that in mind, we turn to Crucial Conversations. Something both JeAnna and I are working on seizing when they happen. They're easy to avoid, but doors open when you have them.  This topic comes from the book "Crucial Conversations: Tools for Talking When the Stakes are High" by Kerry Patterson, Joseph Grenny, and others.  A Crucial Conversation is dialogue between two or more people with different opinions and the stakes are high.  For example, you and your team need to come up with the big corporate marketing plan, or you need to talk to a friend who stole from you, or you need to talk to a loved one about how you're not feeling loved --> Crucial Conversation. Tune in and find out what to do.

Failure and startup businesses go hand in hand. And that’s OK. “The person who fails the most wins the biggest.” (Seth Godin) The more you put yourself out there, the more opportunities you have to learn. We encourage failure. That’s where the good stuff happens. Put failure into your process. Start with a growth mindset and sharpen your skills over time. Act on your passions. Take the first step to set yourself free. Get feedback. Learn from your feedback. Listen. Take that feedback and try something different. Keep an open mind. Build, measure, learn. Iterate from there. Validate your ideas through learning instead of focusing on the product you think people want. Have a hypothesis and test it.
