Being a mom is a really important role that can be very rewarding and at the same time can sometimes feel like it has to come at a cost, losing a sense of oneself. Im thankful that I finally broke free of that mentality and took the necessary steps to walk in my purpose, which includes being a mom but is not limited to it. And while we all know that life is filled with ups and downs, we must stay focused on our goals. In other words, when you are excited and pumped about doing something and all of a sudden something (a potential monkey wrench) is thrown in to play, how do you handle that moment?
