What CLUES are present in your life? How would our community/town change if Christians all used our gifts?

What part has God prepared you to play in the church, the body of Christ?

How have you thought of ministry in the past?

Do you think that your occupation(s) (work, study, homemaking, looking work, volunteering, etc.) are significant to God? Why or why not?

Assess how much you give today, and to what causes. What percentage of your income is it? Set a stretch goal to increase this.

Jesus says giving generously can lead to a “life that really is life.” Describe this true life and how it differs from this one.

Read 1 Timothy 6:6-10, 17-19 - When have you seen the love of money cause pain in a life?

How are money and power connected? Where are we supposed to find power?

Where have you heard the term stewardship before?

Which of these issues most easily prevents you from following Jesus fully?

What are some of the ingrained assumptions that you have about money?

If the commandments are scaffolding to help in the construction of a “new you”, what’s the most difficult part of the job right now? In other words, which part of the “new you” is God having the most difficulty building?

Someone once said, "If you find a perfect church, don’t join it; you’ll ruin it!". If you aren't already part of a church, what characteristics will you look for in an imperfect christian community?
