Over the next few weeks we'll be diving deep into Channel 10's new dating show, The Real Love Boat Australia. We look into how this show came to be, how it became the de facto replacement for The Bachelor/ette in 2022, and what chance we think it has of staying afloat in the ratings. We make a case for the show as a cure for the common Bachelor - a relaxing getaway from the high-stakes drama of mansion life - and argue that if it's not an A+ TV show, it's at least in the high Cs.
