Youth producer Dolna Smithback spent a week with the Global Youth Leadership Institute (GYLI) in July of 2009. Smithback traveled with another youth producer and the director of Youth Media Project to Mystic Connecticut. There she documented the year one of the GYLI, aboard the Amistad Schooner.
