V. Black Male Podcast

This is Part Two of our interview with Andy Campbell and Michael McFadden. In Part One we discussed the needs of emerging writers. In Part Two we continue the conversation, discussing how Andy and Michael made moves in they careers, the importance of an editor-writer relationship, as well as the current state of the writing business. The Very Black Male is a podcast based out of Houston, created and hosted by Ashura Bayyan. Its aim is to explore the nuances of creativity and genuinely engage with the intellectual communities within arts and academia. This podcast will serve as capsule of ideas and issues in and around the Black Male experience, while archiving the stories of working artist. Produced by Lovelady Texas and distributed by the U.S. Gallery Network. Its name is drawn from an exhibition held at the Whitney Museum of American Art in 1994-95.
