Generation 'merica

Today’s special guest is Nick Maley, creature effect make up artist for over 50 films, including Star Wars, and one of the makers of the original Yoda.  Today he is promoting savingyoda.com, a project that aims to rebuild the practical Yoda and have him available for the anthology films.  In 2014 he formed the Follow Your Star Foundation, a non-profit organization. In his own endearing way, he shared what he has learned about life and creating an artistic career, and unsurprisingly we could imagine him following Yoda’s sage advice, “Do, or do not.  There is no try.” Originally published: Jan 6, 2016
