Dennis Lockhart, previously the14th President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, discusses the topic of: “Crisis, Recession and Recovery: The Decade 2007-2016.” As the President and CEO, Lockhart oversaw all the bank's activity, including monetary policy, bank supervision and regulation, and payment services during a tumultuous time in our nation’s economy. Lockhart also speaks about his views on the current state of the economy and the short term outlook. Lockhart was previously on faculty at Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Affairs and was an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies. He has also served as a managing partner for a boutique investment firm and as president of Heller International Group, among other positions. Currently, Lockhart is a director/trustee of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, the Georgia Research Alliance and the Commerce Club.
