We have some ideas about what our ideal mentor should look like. I'd like to challenge those ideas with some new perspectives about what a mentor is truly given to provide. How many great mentors are passed over simply because we have the wrong wish list? Ultimately, we lose when we don't connect with the right qualities in a mentorship relationship.
